London - Queens Park Rangers will investigate captain Joey Barton's conduct once the Football Association has completed its own hearing on the midfielder's sending off on the final day of the English Premier League season.
The midfielder was sent off for elbowing Manchester City's Carlos Tevez, and then kicked Sergio Aguero and tried to head-butt Vincent Kompany before being escorted off the pitch by his team-mates.
The FA charged him on Monday with two counts of violent conduct. He could face a 10-match ban at the start of next season.
QPR say they plan "a full investigation in relation to Joey Barton's dismissal and subsequent events."
