'Positive vibe' carrying Arsenal - Chambers

Cape Town - Arsenal defender Calum Chambers says the "positive vibe” around the club is a key reason for Arsenal’s fine recent form.

Saturday’s 3-0 victory over West Ham United was the Gunners' eighth in their last nine league games - and they are now just one point behind second-placed Manchester City.

Chambers was impressed by the team’s performance at both ends of the pitch and says confidence is high.

“Getting a clean sheet is always a positive for us defenders and for the whole team,” he told Arsenal Player.

“We knew it would be a tough game because West Ham are a good side but I thought we played well, kept strong and got the goals we needed.

“[Aaron Ramsey] got himself a goal and he had a great performance. He’s a quality player and let’s hope it keeps going.

“[Olivier’s Giroud] is another quality player. He scores lots of goals so it’s always a positive to have goalscorers in the team.

“We’ve got a lot of confidence and we’re building momentum in the league. We’re getting a lot of good results and we’ve just got to keep the positive vibe and keep getting the results we need.”
