Pellegrini talks ahead of Chelsea clash

Cape Town - Manuel Pellegrini discussed six topics ahead of his side's clash against Chelsea on Sunday at the Etihad stadium.

Manuel Pellegrini was at the press conference ahead of the mouth-watering English Premiership clash against Chelsea.

These are his views:

PELLEGRINI ON:

New defender Eliaquim Mangala: "He has no problem and he is working with the squad. He started late in his preparation."

Goalkeeper Joe Hart against Bayern Munich: "Joe had a very good game against Bayern but that is why he is number one in England."

The speculation regarding Yaya Toure's commitment to the cause: "I don’t agree that Yaya has all the responsibility for the games. He always has commitment."

The fitness of Sergio Aguero: "When he is 100% fit, Sergio always makes a difference. At this moment he is not ready to play three games in one week."

Manchester City's current form: "We have been very unlucky in our last two games. We must win our next game at home so we are just two points behind."

Next opponents Chelsea: "Chelsea have very good players in a very good moment. It is not a surprise they are there at the top."

Manchester City now face the prospect of stopping a rampant Chelsea at the Etihad on Sunday, September 21.

The match kicks off at 17:00.
