Pedro completes Chelsea move

Cape Town - Chelsea have confirmed the arrival of Spanish international and Barcelona forward Pedro on a four-year deal.

Pedro completes his move to Stamford Bridge in a deal worth a reported £21.4 million.

"I am very happy to be here. I am very excited to start my adventure at Chelsea and I am here to keep winning titles." Pedro told the Chelsea website.

"Thanks to the club and the supporters for giving me the opportunity to put the blue shirt on."

The Tenerife-born star leaves his boyhood club Barcelona after 11 years.

Pedro signed for Barςa’s academy in 2004 and made his first-team debut in January 2008 after catching the eye for their B team.

The versatile winger is expected to fill Willian's place on the right side of attack.

Pedro has won 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup and European Championships with Spain along with three Champions Leagues and five La Liga titles at Barcelona.
