Ozil fit for City clash

Cape Town - Arsenal's injury crisis is slowly seeing signs of progress with Mesut Ozil declared fit for the match against Manchester City.

Coach Arsene Wenger has received good and bad news ahead his side's crunch match against Manchester City according to the club's website.

Wenger confirmed the bad news regarding Aaron Ramsey's ankle injury.

He said: "The first news is not bad. He will be assessed today and he has a little chance to be available for Saturday. He had an ankle sprain but it's a minor one that's for sure. Will it be enough to be available for Saturday? We'll know today."

The London club received the boost of having German World Cup winner Mesut Ozil declared ready to face the champions of England.on the other team news…

"Ozil had a knock and didn't play for Germany because he had a sprained ankle. He will be available as well." said Wenger.

"Arteta and Gibbs are back in the squad and in normal training."

The news on England star Theo Walcott will encourage fans of Arsenal.

"Walcott is two to three weeks away from joining full training." said the Gunners boss.
