Numbers back City win

Cape Town - A massive amount of data has been crunched by the experts and the final 2014/15 English Premiership log has been decided.

Bloomberg Sports have analysed all the data and it's it good news for Manchester City fans but not so for Liverpool's faithful supporters.

Manchester City are backed, by the numbers, to beat Chelsea to the top of the English Premiership.

Arsenal will somehow move out of their favoured fourth spot into third.

Look away now all you "YNWA" chanting Liverpudlians, the numbers favour Manchester United to pip you into fourth spot.

Manchester United fans would probably take fourth place right now after last season's disastrous campaign.

The full 2014/15 league table:

Liverpool only have a 54% chance of reaching the Champions League next season while United are favoured to pip Liverpool with a 63% chance.

Not great news for QPR, Aston Villa and Burnley, the numbers have destined them for relegation.
