Cape Town - Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart is set for a new contract
at the Etihad Stadium, and although he has yet to sign anything, he
says the deal is "pretty much sorted".
And the England international couldn’t be happier to commit to City for the next few years. "I love this place and I love everything about Manchester City," Football411 quotes Hart as saying.
"I feel like it is my club now and I want to be here as long as I can."
Manager Manuel Pellegrini, when speaking of the deal which will reportedly make him the highest-paid keeper in the Premier League, said: "It's important for this club to keep Joe with us."
The new contract is more good news for City, who recently booked their place in the Champions League last 16 with a win over Roma, a result which has left Hart confident of his team's prospects this season, ahead of their visit to Leicester City in the league on Saturday.
