Cape Town - Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo is believed to be making a move back
to Spain to join Valencia on a loan deal.
According to the Daily Star, City will loan the Spanish striker to Valencia, who will pay a £25m transfer fee at the end of the current campaign to make the move permanent.
Manuel Pellegrini's side is still interested in Radamel Falcao and are expected to use the money from the departure of Negredo to fund a late bid for the Colombian.
Falcao, who is thought to be unsettled at Monaco, has been available on loan, but City are only interested in a permanent deal.
The 28-year-old has also been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool and Real Madrid, but with the transfer window set to close tonight, City will need to move quickly if they are to land the in-demand Falcao.
