The Mirror report that Nani is facing the axe at Manchester United as Louis van Gaal tries to seal a move for Marcos Rojo.

Argentina World Cup star Marcos Rojo is wanted to bolster United's struggling defence and Sporting Lisbon appear ready to conclude a deal but with Nani included.

Manchester United have only brought in Luke Shaw, who has been ruled out with injury, and lost veteran trio Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra in the summer.

Rojo has now announced that he has signed with Manchester United. Click here for the full story.

Nani signed a new long term deal last season under David Moyes but reports suggest the Portuguese winger has no future under van Gaal at Manchester United.
