Cape Town - On the brink of exiting the Champions League, Bayern Munich may be tested with a bid for star forward Thomas Muller.
The German international could yet link up with former manager Louis van Gaal according to The Independent.
Manchester United reportedly were turned down by the Bundesliga champions last summer but after the forward's latest comments, the Red Devils could make another swoop for Muller.
It’s a secret for nobody,” the 25-year-old World Cup winner said.
“Louis van Gaal and I have a relationship that goes beyond that which is normal between a player and a coach.
“However, I have a contract with Bayern until 2017."
Louis van Gaal handed Muller his Bayern Munich debut in 2009.
