Moyes keen to re-sign Pienaar

2012-07-06 07:46

Cape Town - Everton boss David Moyes has stated that he would like to re-sign midfielder Steven Pienaar from Tottenham, according to a report on goal.com's website.

The South African international returned to the club during the second half of last season on-loan from Spurs, scoring four goals in 14 games as the Toffees narrowly missed out on European qualification.

Having spent three-and-a-half years on Merseyside prior to his switch to White Hart Lane in January 2011, Moyes is hopeful of bringing the 30-year-old back to the club this summer.

"We're keen and I hope in time that we will be able to conclude that deal," he told reporters.

I personaly think is the best he can do now as the adge is catching up with him, as footboler all he needs is to play especially on Premiere League.

I think this is a good move. His already 30 and after 30 we all know footballers start to regress. He should target regular football and he can still cut it in the EPL for perhaps another 3 years. After that he should really consider coming home
