Mourinho has Barca option

Cape Town - La Liga giants  Barcelona are reportedly interested in luring Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho away from London.

Jose Mourinho penned a four year deal in 2013 with Chelsea but is being lined up as a potential replacement for Luis Enrique at Barcelona.

The Express report that Jose Mourinho will be offered the chance to extend his current deal at Stamford Bridge to keep him away from the clutches of Barcelona.

A move to Barcelona would be extremely controversial after Mourinho spent time with arch-rivals Real Madrid but the Portuguese mentor is not shy of drama, as he has proven time and time again.

Barcelona would need to convince Mourinho to go back on his word after the "the Special One" recently said: "I'm not here thinking about my next move because I don't want to have a next move.

"I will have a next move if and when Chelsea decides it's time for that. I'm here to stay. I belong to Chelsea, Chelsea belong to me."
Mourinho has guided Chelsea to the top of the English Premiership with 10 wins and three draws from the Blues opening 13 games.

Chelsea are seeking their first league win since 2010.
