Cape Town - Midfielder Ravel Morrison will struggle to find a place at
West Ham after his loan at Cardiff ended early, says manager Sam
Allardyce.
"We have such a big squad this season that I felt it was better for him to try and get some football and see how it goes," Football411 quotes Allardyce as saying.
Morrison is now training with the Hammers' U21 team after Cardiff City allowed him to return to London "due to personal reasons".
"It hasn’t worked there that well and he is back here with us," admitted Allardyce. "But my focus isn't on Ravel, it is on my first-team squad continuing the great run of form they are on at the moment. We’ll have to look at the situation over the new year."
West Ham are currently fourth in the league, and will be hoping to retain their lofty position when they face bottom-placed Leicester City on Saturday.
