Cape Town - Manchester City are on the brink of losing James Milner on a free in the summer with the midfielder eyeing a fresh challenge.

The Guardian reports that Milner has already held talks with Inter Milan, Roma and Internazionale as well as two clubs in Spain over a proposed move when his contract expires on June 30.

Milner, often overlooked at City due his less flamboyant style, has spent five seasons in Manchester since arriving from Aston Villa.
