Mata on the move?

Cape Town - Juan Mata is being chased by Juventus and Valencia as the player struggles to force his way into the Manchester United starting lineup.

The Express report that Juan Mata may be sold after joining the club in January 2014.

Following the arrival of Radamel Falcao and Louis van Gaal's decision to deploy Wayne Rooney in a deeper play-making role, Mata has seen his stock lower at the Old Trafford club.

Despite playing well when called upon, Louis van Gaal may allow Juan Mata to leave the club should an offer in the region of £20 million be made for the Spanish midfielder.

Reports in Englamd suggest Juventus are seriously considering making a January bid for Mata while former club Valencia are monitoring Mata's situation in England.

Mata has scored two goals in six games this season.

The Spanish midfielder is likely to start for the Red Devils on Monday evening, as Wayne Rooney continues to serve his three match suspension, when Manchester United travel to face West Bromwich Albion.
