Mason commits to Spurs

Cape Town - Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason has pledged his future to the club by signing a new long-term deal with the London club.

Spurs released a statement confirming the news on their website:

"The Club is delighted to announce that Ryan Mason has signed a new five-and-a-half-year contract which runs until 2020.

Our home-grown midfielder netted his first senior goal for us in the League Cup against Nottingham Forest in September last year and hasn't looked back since.

No less than three days later he was making his Premier League debut at Arsenal and has gone on to establish himself as an important member of our First Team, making 18 appearances so far this season.

Ryan has also gained extensive experience during loan spells in the Football League previously with Swindon Town, Millwall, Doncaster and Yeovil, clocking up a total of 103 senior appearances in his career to date."
