Magpies set for Zaha swoop

Cape Town - Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is ready to make an offer to bring Wilfried Zaha's time at Old Trafford to an end.

According to the Daily Mirror, Newcastle are in pole position to sign English youth international Wilfried Zaha.

Manchester United are reportedly willing to listen to offers for the winger after he failed to impress Louis van Gaal.

Newcastle  are favourites to land the winger ahead of West Ham and Crystal Palace and Alan Pardew is set to make a £7 million to conclude the deal.

Zaha, signed from Crystal Palace in 2013, for £10 million made just 4 appearances for Manchester United and was sent on loan to Cardiff City.

Frozen out by ex-United manager David Moyes, the 21-year-old is set to depart Old Trafford before the end of the month.
