London - Manchester United striker Federico Macheda has been fined £15 000 by the English Football Association for making a homophobic comment on Twitter.
Macheda, currently on loan at Queens Park Rangers, was found guilty of using "an abusive and/or insulting word including a reference to a person's sexual orientation."
West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison was fined £7 000 two weeks ago for a similar offence.
