Cape Town - Liverpool, still missing the impact of Luis Suarez, has reportedly agreed a £38 million deal to sign Karim Benzema come the January transfer window.
According to the Daily Star, the Reds have been interested in Benzema as they still look to sign a world class striker and have agreed terms with Real Madrid for the forward.
Liverpool is not believed to have agreed personal term yet, nor have they held any direct talks with Benzema, but with Daniel Sturridge still sidelined (and prone to injury) Brendan Rodgers is eager to seal the deal as quickly as possible.
The Real hit-man, who is believed to be unsettled at the Bernabeu, has scored 113 goals in 243 appearances for Los Blancos and would be a good addition to Brendan Rodgers' Reds.
