According to the NY Times website, while the record books will forever show that Manchester City are the actual 2013/14 champions of England, what would the standings look like in a hypothetical league in which a goal does not count unless it's scored by an English player?
While all a bit tongue-in-cheek of course, it does show which clubs rely most on international talent.
Staggeringly, instead of holding aloft this year's trophy, City would find themselves RELEGATED!
And Liverpool, who came oh-so-close to the title this year with some of England's brightest stars, would get to raise the trophy after all...
