They totally outplayed Chelsea from start to finish and the scoreline could've been even worse for the men from London!

City bring on Wilfried Bony for Aguero.

Ivanovic is having another poor game, he's not made a good start to the season at all and seems to have lost a yard of pace over the summer.
City take the sting out of the game for a couple of minutes by keeping possession of the ball well.

Former Stoke City goalkeeper Begovic is forced to deny Aguero again, making a second smart stop in quick succession to deny the City striker.
Superb stop by Begovic low to his left to keep Aguero's powerful drive out.
There's almost a costly mix-up between Gary Cahill and Begovic until the keeper eventually decides to dive on the ball.
City should really be ahead as they've been by far the better team so far.
It's been one-way traffic in City's favour in the opening minutes.

Costa goes down under Eliaquin Mangala's challenge but the referee is unimpressed - no penalty.

Thibaut Courtois was sent off in the 2-2 draw with Swansea so is suspended for today's game. He is replaced by summer signing Asmir Begovic. Oscar is out after suffering an injury in training but Diego Costa starts in attack for Jose Mourinho's side.
