Chelsea continue their unbeaten run in the Premier League after defeating Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield.
Liverpool started the game strongly and led through a deflected Can goal in the 9th minute (his first for the club). Chelsea equalised soon after through Cahill after Liverpool failed to deal with a corner.
Chelsea took control of the encounter and it was Liverpool's failure to deal with a cross on 67 minutes that lead to Costa scoring his 10th goal of the season.
Chelsea were happy to sit on their lead and let Liverpool come at them and it was the home side who searched for the equaliser but could not deliver a decent final ball. Liverpool will feel aggrieved after Cahill seems to block a Gerrard shot by leaning into it with his arm, but Liverpool's penalty protest were waved away.
Chelsea have now won 9 games this season.
