Southampton - Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini said on Sunday that captain Vincent Kompany will undergo tests on Monday after injuring his hamstring in his side's 3-0 win at Southampton.
Kompany limped off in the latter stages of the game at St Mary's, shortly after Gael Clichy had scored from Sergio Aguero's pass in the 88th minute to complete the scoring.
"Kompany has a problem in (his) hamstring," Pellegrini told his post-match press conference. "But we'll see tomorrow (Monday) if it's just a cramp or it's an injury."
City's victory took the defending champions above Southampton into second place in the Premier League table, six points behind leaders Chelsea.
