Klopp laughs off Hummels price tag

Cape Town - Dortmund boss Jürgen Klopp  has laughed off suggestions that star defender Mats Hummels is on his way out of the club for £15 million.

Klopp, who has quickly risen to superstar status, has issued a "hands off' warning to Manchester United over the possible sale of Mats Hummels.

The Guardian are reporting that Louis Van Gaal is looking to add to his new Manchester squad and reports suggested he wants Hummels at the heart of his defence.

Van Gaal is in for a challenge after Klopp was quoted as saying, “What are we talking about today? Mats to Manchester United? For how much? €20m (£15.8m)? With those kind of sums can you forget that straight away.”

Klopp went on to rule out the sale of Marco Reus in the transfer window. Reus has been on the radar of Bayern Munich and Liverpool but Klopp is refusing to part with his star players.

“I can assure everyone that there are no signs that those two players want to leave. Marco and Mats will play for us the next season,” Klopp said on German TV.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
