Cape Town - Harry Kane has been named the Premier League's player of the month for February, it was announced on Friday.
The Tottenham Hotspur striker became the fourth player ever to win the award in consecutive months.
Kane scored four goals in February to join Dennis Bergkamp, Cristiano Ronaldo and Robbie Fowler as the only players to win the award, in its 21st year, two months in a row.
"I'm very happy," Kane told his club's website after winning the trophy.
"To win it once a year is great, let alone twice in two months.
“For me, the Arsenal game was the highlight of February. To score twice and to get that late winner was incredible.
“This season has happened so fast but I’ve always believed in myself. I just had to take my chance and thankfully I’ve done that.”
