Kalou ready for EPL return

Cape Town - Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton look set to miss out on the signing of Saloman Kalou as the Ivorian nears a return to the English Premiership.

The Express report that Saloman Kalou is set to return to the English Premiership this season.

With just two years left on his current deal with Lille, the French are reportedly open to the idea of Kalou leaving the club.

Reports in England have suggest that Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton are all interested in securing a deal for the former Chelsea man but appear to lose out to Sunderland.

The 29-year-old winger is understood to be interested in a move to Sunderland with reports suggesting his agent was in England to sound out a deal with Sunderland.

Kalou will provide Sunderland with added quality with the Ivorian's knowledge of the English Premiership.

Kalou spent six seasons with Chelsea where he scored 60 goals and created over 40 chances for his teammates.
