Juve up Vidal price

Cape Town - Juventus are taking advantage of the Real Madrid's interest in Arturo Vidal by increasing their asking price for the Chilean star player.

The Express report that Real Madrid will rival Manchester United for the signature of midfielder Arturo Vidal.

Manchester United have been linked with a move for the player since the end of the World Cup in Brazil before concerns regarding the player's knee injury ended the club's interest.

Vidal has showed little signs of that injury which has increased speculation that the player will once again be tempted with an Old Trafford move in January.

The Red Devils plans could be derailed by long time European rivals, Real Madrid.

Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly interested in bolstering his midfield options with Sami Khedira expected to leave the club at the end of the season.

Juventus have now reportedly up their asking price for Vidal to a massive £48 million.

It is now up to either club to meet the valuation set by Juventus should they wish to bring the 27-year-old midfielder to their club.
