Jovetic having medical at Inter

Milan - Injury-plagued forward Stevan Jovetic is undergoing a medical with Inter Milan as part of a transfer from Manchester City.

The Montenegro international will reportedly move back to Italy on a two-year loan deal, with Inter obliged to eventually purchase his full rights for €12 million.

Inter coach Roberto Mancini says "he'll be a key piece for us."

The 25-year-old Jovetic established himself in Serie A with Fiorentina but never really regained the form he had before he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in 2010, which caused him to miss the entire 2010-11 season.

Fiorentina sold Jovetic to City in 2013 for €26 million.

Jovetic scored only eight times in the Premier League over two seasons and made only 11 starts.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
