Jones extends Liverpool stay

Liverpool - Australian goalkeeper Brad Jones has signed a contract extension of an undisclosed length with Liverpool.

Jones joined the club on a three-year deal from Middlesbrough in 2010.

The 30-year-old Jones said on Thursday he was "very happy to be staying at such a great club."

Jones has kept three clean sheets in 10 games for Liverpool, and lost only twice.

In the English Premier League, he played in the home win over Reading, and draws against Everton, Newcastle and Chelsea.
