Cape Town - Tottenham Hotspur reportedly lead the race to sign Kieran Trippier from relegated Burnley.
Following the departure of Danny Ings to Liverpool, Trippier may be next in line to leave the club, according to the Mirror.
The 24-year-old defender was a standout performer for Burnley this season and has a £3.5m release clause in his contract, which Spurs are willing to match.
Should Trippier join Mauricio Pochettino's side at White Hart Lane, he will compete with Kyle Walker for a place in the starting lineup.
Trippier is a former Manchester City youth player.
