I will demand first team football - Hernandez

Cape Town - With his career at a cross-roads, Javier Hernandez will ask for assurances that he will be a first team regular next season.

The Daily Mail report that Real Madrid will not exercise the option to make Javier Hernandez' loan move permanent.

The 26-year-old Mexican has found the back of the net four times in his 10 matches for Madrid but the European Champions will not be signing the pacey forward at the end of his loan move.

"I am not sure what will happen in the summer yet - but whatever happens I need guarantees. I am 26 now - in the summer I will be 27 - I must be at a club where I am going to be playing regularly.

"Wherever I am playing next season - I will make sure I have those sort of assurances." Hernandez told reporters.
