Cape Town - According to reports in the German press, Lewis Holtby will make his loan move from Tottenham to Hamburg permanent at the end of the season.
The midfielder joined the Bundesliga outfit on loan for the current campaign, with an option to buy for €6.5m when the season reaches its conclusion.
It is believed the two parties have already decided that Holtby's future is at the Imtech Arena, with the 24-year-old's disappointing spell at Spurs to be brought to a close.
Holtby joined the north London club in January 2013, and much was expected of the former Schalke star.
However, he failed to make an impact at White Hart Lane, and spent the latter stages of last season on loan at Fulham.
