Wolverhampton - Emile Heskey's late header gave Aston Villa a 2-1 victory at Wolverhampton on Sunday, earning manager Gerard Houllier a second successive win as Villa manager.
Heskey was given a rare start by Houllier, who managed the former England striker when both were at Liverpool, and proved his worth by rising to direct home a powerful header from three metres.
Left wing Stewart Downing put Villa ahead in the 25th minute after meeting Marc Albrighton's cross with a close-range volley but Matt Jarvis equalised when his left-wing centre crept inside the far post.
The result extended Houllier's dream start to life at Villa Park after the Midlands club beat Blackburn 3-1 in the League Cup in his first match in charge.
