Cape Town - Jordan Henderson insists he is keen to remain at Liverpool for
"many years" to come, but is not overly concerned by the lack of a new
contract offer at Anfield.
The 24-year-old has become an integral member of the Reds squad over the past two years, and was even named vice-captain to Steven Gerrard at the beginning of the current campaign.
Henderson still has two years remaining on his current deal, though, and while he admits he would jump at the chance to pen new terms, he is confident his future on Merseyside will be sorted out in due course.
"I am just concentrating on playing football. I am not worried about that," said the England midfielder, who scored Liverpool's winner in the 2-1 win over West Brom.
"I am enjoying my football, I love this club and I want to be here for many years so that shouldn't be an issue.
"I'll let my agent sort that out, it's nothing to do with me."
