London - Swansea City striker Bafetimbi Gomis moved to reassure concerned onlookers that he was "feeling well" after collapsing during his side's 3-2 Premier League defeat at Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday.

"I wanted to reassure you concerning my health, it actually looks much more scary than physically dangerous and I am feeling well now," Gomis wrote on Twitter after the match at White Hart Lane.

Gomis, 29, fainted and fell to the ground shortly after Spurs took a seventh-minute lead and was given oxygen by medical staff before being carried off on a stretcher and taken to hospital.
