Gerrard sets the record straight

Cape Town - Inspirational Liverpool leader Steven Gerrard has taken to social media site, Instagram, to rubbish rift reports.

Brendan Rodgers dropped Gerrard for Saturday's clash against Stoke but the Liverpool skipper has reiterated that he has no problems with the club's manager.

Liverpool beat Stoke 1-0  with Gerrard featuring for 16 minutes as a subsitute in the vital English Premiership win.

Rodgers later said that 34-year-old former England international could no longer expect to start every match.
