Fulham demolish QPR

London - Striker Andy Johnson scored a hat-trick to lead Fulham to a crushing 6-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers in a west London derby in the Premier League on Sunday.

Johnson made an early start, steering the ball home in only the second minute after QPR goalkeeper Paddy Kenny had spilled a powerful shot from Mousa Dembele.

Johnson followed up by winning a penalty, converted by Danny Murphy in the 20th minute, before turning home a cross from Bobby Zamora in the 38th and bringing up his hat trick just before the hour mark.

Zamora then set up Clint Dempsey for a clinical finish inside the area in the 65th. Zamora then scored Fulham's sixth in the 74th after US international Dempsey returned the favour to complete the rout.
