Fergie: I won't sell Berbatov

England - Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson says he will not sell Dimitar Berbatov despite the striker's limited impact at the club.

Berbatov scored only 12 Premier League goals last season as Chelsea broke United's three-year hold on the Premier League title.

British newspapers had linked Berbatov with a transfer to Bayern Munich but Ferguson says he will "definitely not" be leaving during the offseason.

Ferguson says "Dimitar is a good player and he will be with us next year."

The 29-year-old Berbatov is Bulgaria's all-time leading scorer with 48 goals in 77 appearances but retired from international football earlier this month.
