Manchester - Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand injured his calf in the warm-up before his side's 2-1 Premier League defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday and will be out for a fortnight.
"He turned his calf in the warm-up and he'll be out for a couple of weeks, I believe," manager Alex Ferguson told Sky Sports after his side's 29-match unbeaten league run was ended by the bottom club.
Ferdinand's injury means the 32-year-old will miss England's friendly in Denmark this week and the probably next week's derby against Manchester City.
