The Mirror report that Real Madrid are set to sign Radamel Falcao on loan.

Arsenal and Liverpool were both linked to making an audacious bid to bring the striker to England but the player has his heart set on a move to Los Blancos.

Real Madrid are interesting in bringing the Monaco hitman to the Santiago Bernabéu on a seaon-long loan deal before making the deal permanent next season.

With reports suggesting a loan fee of £20 million, the French club are willing to let their star striker go.

Real Madrid are unable to make the deal permanent this summer due to Financial Fair Play constraints according to the speculation in Spain.

Falcao missed the Soccer World Cup in Brazil due to injury but has recovered and wants a move to the Madrid giants.
