Falcao hints at done deal

Cape Town - Manchester United's decision not to make Radamel Falcao loan move permanent could come back to bite them after the player hinted that his Chelsea move "can be" true.

According to the Independent, Radamel Falcao has hinted that his proposed Chelsea move is all but done.

Falcao netted four goals in all competitions last season during his time at Manchester United, a goal return which was not enough to convince Louis van Gaal that the Colombian star would ever return to his finest form following a bad knee injury suffered in 2014.

"El Tigre" was asked if he can confirm his Stamford Bridge move. He replied: "It can be [true]. You will know soon."

Falcao was speaking to reporters after his national team beat Brazil at the Copa America.

Falcao is set to link up with former Atletico Madrid colleague, Diego Costa, once he completes his much anticipated switch to Chelsea this summer.

Juan Cuadrado has also hinted that the move is a "done deal".

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
