Fabregas not ruling out trophy binge

Cape Town - Cesc Fabregas is enjoying life back in the English Premiership and refuses to rule out winning all four major competitions this season.

The in-form Chelsea midfielder believes Chelsea can challenge for all four titles.

Fabregas, speaking to PUMA following the launch of the evoPower 1.2 FG football boots (Read that story here!), was asked if Chelsea can realistically challenge for a quadruple. The Spanish star replied: "It’s obviously difficult to say, but at the moment we are still competing in all of them, so I’d never say never. We will try our best, but we’ll only see at the end of the season."

The Blues midfielder went on to describe his return to the English top-flight: "It’s been great so far, I’m enjoying it a lot. The Premier League has definitely improved since I left three years ago."

"The passion is still the same - from the fans, the players. Physically it has always been a really hard league because it is so competitive, but tactically it’s now much better. I think to break down defence these days is more difficult than before.

Despite a lengthy absence from the English game, Fabregas has settled brilliantly at Stamford Bridge. The ex-Arsenal player admits he is fortunate to have settled so quickly. "I  was lucky to have a good pre-season.  We played four or five games pre-season and that really helped me find my rhythm. We have a very young and talented squad and I get on well with everyone, so that made my introduction really easy."

After playing for Arsenal and Barcelona, Fabregas knows a thing or two about quality football clubs. His thoughts on Chelsea? "It’s a very well structured club." replied Fabregas before adding: "The people inside the club, the people who work for Chelsea are really nice and make you feel very welcome and I settled in very quickly. It’s been very positive."

Cesc Fabregas on life at Chelsea, his impressive return to England and his improved touch with the PUMA evoPower 1.2 FG football boots.

Fabregas has joined the likes of Olivier Giroud, Mario Balotelli and Dante to switch to the new PUMA evoPower 1.2 FG football boots which he described as "It’s really good. I tested it for a few weeks, the boot felt really comfortable, it’s actually the best boot I have ever worn."

With 15 assists in the league this season, Fabregas issued an ominous warning that his touch on the ball is even better than before due to improvements in his new boots.

"They are very comfortable, they are light, and your touch with the ball is even better now."
