Lennon swaps Spurs for Toffees

London - Everton have announced that winger Aaron Lennon has joined the club on a three-year deal, having spent part of last season at Goodison Park on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.

"We are delighted to welcome Aaron back to Everton," said Everton manager Roberto Martinez.

"We know we are getting a player our fans know inside-out.

"He had a major role in the second half of our season and we're looking forward to Aaron kicking on and continuing to enjoy his football, as well as being the productive player we know he can be."

Lennon, 28 and a former England international, has joined for an undisclosed fee.
