English Premiership Team of the Week 9:

1. Simon Mignolet (Liverpool) - Mignolet made several high quality saves as Liverpool held on to a goalless draw against Spurs to ensure Jurgen Klopp's first game in charge started off somewhat positively.

2. Hector Bellerin (Arsenal) - Has Mathieu Debuchy handed in his transfer request? He might as well as I fear a real lack of game time behind Bellerin.

3. Danny Rose (Tottenham Hotspur) - Rose was good but not great against Liverpool but was probably still the best of the left backs on show in game week 9.

4. Laurent Koscielny (Arsenal) - The French defender is now firmly one of the best centre-backs in the league and again proved his worth as the Gunners kept a clean sheet against Watford.

5. Jose Fonte (Southampton) - Fonte was unlucky not be on the winning side after turning in a solid performance.

6. Moussa Sissoko (Newcastle United) - A hat-trick of assists ensures Sissoko is one of two Newcastle United players in the Sport24 EPL Team of the Week for round 9.

7. Ander Herrera (Manchester United) - Edges team-mate Morgan Schneiderlin into the side. Both players were fantastic as the Red Devils overcame Everton with ease.

8. Georginio Wijnaldum (Newcastle United) - Wijnaldum has been the Magpies' best player all season and scored four as Newcastle swept aside Norwich 6-2 to win their first game of the season.

9. Raheem Sterling (Manchester City) - Sterling was in sensational form as he netted a hat-trick against a hapless Bournemouth.

10. Jamie Vardy (Leicester City) - Vardy leads the Premier League golden boot race, with 9 goals in as many games, after starring for the Foxes as he scored two goals to see his side come from 2-0 down to draw with Southampton.

11. Wilfried Bony (Manchester City) - City boss Manuel Pellegrini will be pleased with how the Ivorian striker stood in for the injured Sergio Aguero - two goals and an assist means his inclusion is a "no brainer".
