EPL: Players to watch Week 11

Cape Town - Sport24 soccer expert Wade Pretorius looks at which Premier League players are going to shine and which players may not...

I managed a paltry 16.5 points in week 10 with 11 of those coming from the in-form Jamie Vardy. 81 players in the Sport24 pool chose Harry Kane last week and his hat-trick rewarded those with 22 points. I now sit in 15th place in the Sport24 pool which is still be lead by Mossy (real name Moses Nkwane) but his lead is cut to just two points.

In the last game week, I made the call to go with Eden Hazard but Kevin de Bruyne outscored the out of sorts Chelsea star by 8 points. Mahrez was left on the bench as Ozil went on to score 10 points leaving me off the pace.

Players to watch in Week 11:

1. Graziano Pelle (Southampton) - Bournemouth could be in for another long afternoon with Pelle and co. looking move up the table and I'm gambling on Pelle outscoring Wilfried Bony.

2. Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City) - I had initially gone for De Bruyne's team-mate, Raheem Sterling, but with the young Englishman marked with an injury concern, I'm tipping the Belgian to shine this week.

3. Erik Lamela (Tottenham Hotspur) - Spurs seemed to have turned the corner and I'm backing the Argentina star to be amongst the goals against manager-less Aston Villa.

4. Seamus Coleman (Everton) - Sunderland were not as good as their 3-0 scoreline suggests last week and Coleman could be on the right side of the clean sheet on Sunday.
