London - Manchester United's new signing Memphis Depay declared on Wednesday that his ambition is to become the best player in the world during his time at Old Trafford.

The 21-year-old Holland forward agreed to join United from Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven last week in a deal reportedly worth around £25 million.
