Crystal Palace, Stoke draw

London - The toothless attacking forces of Crystal Palace and Stoke cancelled each other out in an uninspiring 1-1 draw in the Premier League on Saturday.

James McArthur headed his first goal in 15 games to give Palace the lead after 11 minutes.

But Stoke striker Peter Crouch equalised inside two minutes, tapping in Jon Walter's deflected shot.

But 11th-place Stoke struggled to match the performance that produced a win over Arsenal last weekend.

Palace's patchy run of one win in 10 games has left the London club only one point above the relegation zone.
