Costa out of hospital

Cape Town - Diego Costa has been released from hospital after contracting a virus in the lead up to Sunday's clash against Manchester United.

Sky Sports report that Costa was hospitalised earlier in the week but has since been released.

Costa, who has also reportedly picked up a groin strain, has missed Chelsea's last two games with his troublesome hamstring acting up.

Jose Mourinho will be inundated with questions on Costa's injury and general health on Friday when he gives his pre-match press conference.
