Cape Town - Vincent Kompany, David Silva are serious doubts while defender Eliaquim Mangala continues to struggle from a calf injury.
The Manchester Evening News report that captain Vincent Kompany and influential playmaker David Silva are both likely to miss Manchester City’s next two matches, against Swansea in the league and Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Kompany and Silva both played no part in the international period for Belgium and Spain respectively.
Kompany continues to struggle with a calf injury but may recover in time for the Bayern clash while a knee injury continues to sideline Silva. He will almost definitely miss both of City's next two games.
Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini will be sweating on the fitness progress of France defender Eliaquim Mangala. The former Porto man also has a calf knock which forced him out of France's fixture against Albania.
Manchester City host Swansea City at Etihad Stadium. The match on Saturday, November 22 kicks off at 17:00.
The Citizens will be looking for nothing less than three points against the Swans as the defending champions already find themselves a massive eight points behind leaders Chelsea.
