Cape Town - Manchester City's billionaire owners are reportedly ready to splash the cash to bring Paul Pogba back to Manchester.

The former Manchester United academy player tops the City transfer wish list, according to the Daily Star.

The 22-year-old midfielder is currently being observed by the world's leading clubs include neighbours Manchester United, PSG and Real Madrid, but Manchester City are expected to make the first move for the France international.

City are ready to offer Juventus a record £70 million for Pogba's transfer with the player himself expected to be offered wages in the region of £12.5 million a year.

Any deal for Pogba would more than likely see Yaya Toure end his stay with the club.

Pogba's 2014/15 season has been hampered by injuries and has featured 23 times for Juventus in the league.
